Anyone, including automobile dealers and individual buyers can register. We recommend checking your country’s regulations before making a purchase.

We usually have over a thousand cars in our regular inventory and access to about 100,000 cars weekly through various online auctions we cover. We are members of all auction houses in Japan.

You can buy cars from Japan’s auctions through 78 General Trading.

To get involved, you have to:

– Register with 78 General Trading
– Be in touch with our sales representative
– Pay a security deposit (100% refundable) to activate your bid permission

With these steps, you will be granted full access to the main auction houses from Japan and you will be able to bid according to the credit limit of your account.

Right after winning a car from the auction, 78 General Trading will ask you for the deposit to ship your vehicle. Once the vehicle is fully paid, 78 General Trading will send the final documents to you and you will be able to release the car from the destination port.

We accept payment via telegraphic transfer to our designated bank account. We accept Visa, Mastercard and PayPal payment as well.

The exact delivery time depends on the shipping schedule, but typically, it takes 4 to 8 weeks.

Once the vehicle is fully paid, we strive to ship on the earliest available vessel.

No, there are no registration fees or hidden charges. Sign up is free of charge.

If your agreed price term is FOB, additional charges will include freight, clearance, import duty, registration, compliance fees, and other fees per your country’s import regulations.

If your agreed price term is C&F, omit the freight charge, remaining charges will apply.

If your agreed price term is CIF, omit the freight and insurance charge, remaining charges will apply.

LHD cars are rare in Japan but can be found in our Korean and American inventory. They are usually imported from countries like the US, Europe, and Korea.

Yes, if you cancel your purchase order, you may need to pay the incurred costs, as we may have to resell the car.

Yes, all cars undergo a thorough inspection to ensure they match the specifications on the sheet.

You can use our online auction service by signing in to your account anytime you want.

We display prices of vehicles sold over the last 3 months, which is a good source of information.

We have long-standing relationships with auction houses, local dealers, leasing and rental companies, and we use these trusted relationships to help provide our clients with the best possible options.
